Key West Hideaways’ office is located on the water at Pelican Landing, 915 Eisenhower Drive. Directions: Once you enter Key West, go right and follow U.S. 1 (North Roosevelt Boulevard which becomes Truman Avenue). After you pass the City Marina at Garrison Bight, turn right at the intersection onto Eisenhower Drive and right into the Pelican Landing parking lot. Locate on Yahoo Maps. Key West Rental Policies
- Rates. Published rates are based on standard occupancy, do not include an 11.5 percent sales and room tax, are in U.S. dollars, and are subject to change without notice. Additionally there is a non-refundable $25.00 reservation fee charged for each reservation. Higher Rates do apply during Holiday Periods and / or Special Events.
- Deposit. Deposit equal to one night's stay or 50 percent of stay, whichever is greater, applies.
- Cancellation. Go to Cancellation Policies.
- Payment. American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and checks accepted
for deposit. Upon arrival, credit card or cash accepted for balance of
stay. No checks accepted upon arrival. No refund for early departure.
- Extra person. Some units are furnished with sleeper sofas and roll-out beds that allow for additional occupants. See each unit's page for details. There is a $25.00 per night charge for each additional occupant.
- Pet Policies. Go to Pet Policies.
- Housekeeping. We respect your privacy, and wishes to be on a "vacation schedule", so we do not intrude with daily housekeeping in our vacation rentals. Fresh towel service is provided. Housekeeping is provided upon request at $25 per hour.
- Concierge and Special Services. Our staff provides concierge services to meet all your needs including discount tickets to tourist attractions, fishing or diving trips, catered meals, shopping and more. Contact the office for special needs including roll-a-way beds, cribs, housekeeping, and other concierge services.
- No Smoking. Smoking is not permitted inside. Smoking is permitted outside and ashtrays are provided. There is a minimum $200.00 cleaning fee for smoking inside.
- Minimum Stay. Contact the Key West Hideaways office for minimum stay requirements.
- Check-In. 3:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. for The Penthouses and Large Houses)
- Check-Out. 11:00 a.m.
- Late Arrival. For your convenience, if you will arrive after 6:00 p.m., call the office ahead of time for instructions on obtaining your keys.

Monthly Rental Policies
Monroe County, Florida has a 28 Day Rule. The Monroe County Board of Commissioners has voted to disallow short-term rentals in most residential neighborhoods. This means we are no longer allowed to rent these homes on a weekly basis and can only rent for periods of 28 days or more.
- In-season / Off-season Dates
In-season: Usually runs from December through April.
Shoulder-seasons: May and November.
Off-season: Usually runs from June through October.
Mini-lobster Season is the last consecutive Wed.and Thurs. in July.
- Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to reserve. Final payment is due 30 days prior to check in. Reservations that are booked inside 60 days from arrival are charged full and final payment at time of booking. There is a $25 non-refundable reservation processing fee.
- Security Deposit
There is a $1000.00 security deposit required with your final payment. It must be a certified bank check or money order. A refund check will be issued within 10 days after check-out if no damages to the property were incurred.
- Cleaning Fee
There is a $200.00 cleaning fee applied to the rental.

- Telephones
A long distance block is on all phones, calling cards or credit cards, or collect call must be used for all long distance.
- Check-in / Check-out
Most check-in times are 3:00 P.M. if you need to make alternative arrangements, this can be done. Check-out time is 11 A.M. Cleaning people will arrive at 11A.M.
- Rates
1. Published rates are subject to change without notice and do not include 7.5% State Sales Tax, 4% Monroe County Tourist Tax, or other additional fees some properties may incur.
2. Festival, special events and holiday rates include Christmas, New Years, 4th of July,Fantasy Fest, Power Boat Race Week, Easter, Yacht Race weeks and Lobster Sport weeks are 20% higher than that Seasons rates.
- Returned Checks
A $50 check fee will be charged if a check is returned to us by the bank for insufficient funds.
- Hurricane Refund Policy
If you have concerns about possible trip interruption or cancellation due to an impending storm, hurricane watch or warning, mandatory evacuation or hurricane aftermath that may prevent travel to Key West, please purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance as no hurricane refunds are offered. - Smoking
Our homes are all non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outside only and ashtrays are provided. Smoking inside, will result in a minimum fine of $250.
- Guest Responsibilities
1. The rental agreement specifies the number of adults and children allowed to stay as guests in the unit. If a number greater than the agreed upon number and ages occurs, you will be asked to leave with no refund.
2. The guest signing the rental agreement assumes all responsibility for the actions and behavior of all guests and agrees to follow the rules of the property posted therein.
3. Our properties are in residential neighborhoods and are unsuitable for loud parties, events or entertaining groups. If behavior or noise results in a noise complaint or any violation set forth by the City of Key West laws and ordinances, or any other violation of the rental agreement, you will be asked to leave with no refunds given.
4. If guests lock themselves out of their unit and the office staff is called to open the unit, a $100 charge will be imposed.
5. If keys are lost, there will be a $50 charge for each set of lost keys.
6. If personal property is left behind and it is necessary for the items to be returned, a $25 fee, in addition to the cost of the postage and containers, will be assessed.

Pet Policies
Pets are welcome in most units. If you plan to bring a pet, please confirm what rentals will accept them.

Cancellation Policies
- Key West Cancellation Policy. Full refund, less $50 cancellation fee and $25 reservation fee, upon 30 - 60 days notice (whichever applies). Deposit is non-refundable if within 30 - 60 days of arrival date (whichever applies).
- Monthly Rentals Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy is 60-days prior to arrival and the cancellation fee is $200.
